1. Who we are

AJH Website Management(“we”, “us”, “our”) is a partnership operated by James Stewart, Alexander Gilligan, Harry Gilligan. We are the “data controller” responsible for your personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and deliver our work:

• Contact & enquiry details — your name, email address, phone number, business name and anything you tell us in a form, booking, or message.
• Booking details — the date, time and notes you submit when booking a call.
• Order & payment details — the package you choose and the deposit you pay. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
• Technical data — basic information your browser sends (such as IP address and device/browser type) and, if you consent, data from analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use your data, and our lawful basis

• To respond to enquiries and provide quotes — legitimate interests / taking steps to enter a contract.
• To deliver our services and take deposits/payments — performance of a contract.
• To send service emails (booking and payment confirmations) — performance of a contract.
• To keep records and meet legal/accounting obligations — legal obligation.
• To send marketing where permitted — consent or legitimate interests (see Marketing).
• To keep the website secure and working — legitimate interests.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work and, only with your consent, optional cookies (for example analytics). You can accept or reject optional cookies at any time. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

5. Who we share your data with

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with trusted suppliers (“processors”) who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• Stripe — secure payment processing.
• Resend — sending booking and confirmation emails.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Notion — managing enquiries and projects.

We may also disclose data where we’re legally required to (for example to comply with the law or protect our rights).

6. International transfers

Some of our suppliers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards approved under UK data protection law (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or an adequacy decision) to keep your data protected.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry data for up to 2 years after our last contact, and records relating to contracts and payments for up to 7 years to meet accounting and tax requirements. After that we delete or anonymise it.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased in certain circumstances;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• data portability; and
• withdraw consent at any time (where we rely on consent).

9. Marketing

If we send you marketing, every message will say who it’s from and include a simple way to opt out. You can tell us to stop at any time by replying or emailing support@ajhwebsitemanagement.com, and we will keep a record of your preference so we don’t contact you again.

10. How to make a complaint

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your personal data, please contact us first at support@ajhwebsitemanagement.comso we can put it right. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and keep you updated on how we’re dealing with it.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
