Refunds & Cancellations

1. Deposits

To secure your build slot you pay a 25% deposit. This holds your place in our schedule and covers the initial work of planning and setting up your project. Subject to your cancellation rights below, the deposit is refundable within 14 days provided we have not yet started work.

2. Your 14-day cooling-off right (consumers)

If you are a consumer (buying for purposes mainly outside a business), under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel within 14 days of placing your order, for any reason, and receive a full refund of what you have paid — unless you have asked us to start work during that period (see below).

3. If you ask us to start during the 14 days

Web design is often time-sensitive, so you can ask us to begin during the cooling-off period. If you do and then cancel within the 14 days, you may still cancel, but we are entitled to keep an amount that fairly reflects the work already done. If we have fully completed the service within the 14 days with your agreement, the right to cancel is lost.

4. Cancelling after the cooling-off period

After the 14-day period, either of us may end the project on reasonable written notice. If you cancel, you remain responsible for paying for work completed and any third-party costs we have committed to on your behalf up to that point. We will refund any balance you have paid in advance for work not yet done.

5. How to cancel

To cancel, just tell us clearly — by email to support@ajhwebsitemanagement.com, or by post to 44 Honey Head Lane, Honley, Holmfirth, HD9 6RW. Tell us your name, order details and that you wish to cancel. We will confirm receipt and process any refund due to your original payment method within 14 days.

6. Business customers

The statutory cooling-off right above applies to consumers. If you are buying as a business, the cooling-off period does not apply, but the cancellation terms in section 4 and our Terms of Service still govern how a project can be ended.
